Bodine Captures 1st Feature Win at US 24

LOGANSPORT, IN.- Storms moved out of the area, just in time for another action-packed night of micro sprint racing at US 24 Speedway. Kokomo, IN.native Carson Stout won his third consecutive A-Main in the Junior Class on Saturday night.

After his third consecutive feature, Stout said, "It feels awesome to get my third straight feature win. My car was fast as it has ever been. I want to thank my family; Mann's Chevy of Flora, IN., Lindskcoog Photography, AJ Mowing Services, Spic & Span House Cleaning, and Dentmasters 2 for all their support this season." Kayden Shagnessy raced his way to another strong second place finish in Saturday's Junior A-Main.

Rushville, IN racer Cole Bodine (#57 Pictured Left) raced his Concept Chassis to it's first feature win in the thirty lap Nonwing A-Main. "This is awesome to get my first feature win like this at US 24. It was a blast. Car ran good all night. I want to thank my family; Lucas Oils, Hoosier Tire, Shively Racing Engines, and Eagle Signs & Awards for their continued support," Bodine explained.

Another Rushville, IN. native Garrett Abrams followed up his Nonwing A-Main win, with a second place showing in Saturday night's thirty lap feature. Kokomo, IN. racer Shayne Riley raced his way through the field to end the night in third, while Westfield's Stephanie Mockler took fourth. Indianapolis, IN. native Colton Brown rounded out the top five in Saturday's Nonwing A-Main event.

Laville, IN. native Dawson Stealy (#40 Pictured Right) record his third Restrictor feature win of the season on Saturday night. "Track was good and car was fast. It feels great to bounce back with a big win tonight. I want to thank my Dad Rodney and the crew for setting up a great car. I would also like to thank all my sponsors for their support this season; Concept Chassis, Advantage Performance Products, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Infinity Shocks, Hoosier Tire, Hothead Engine Heaters, Leading Edge, Shively Racing Engines, and Pro Shocks," Stealy explained.

Indianapolis, IN. racer Dustin Davis put together a solid race, finishing second. Third belonged to Tipton, IN. native Justin Weir, while Nick Wallace came home fourth. Rusty Disinger raced his way to the fifth spot in the thirty lap Restrictor A-Main on Saturday night.

The fourth and final feature of the night came from the Wing Class. Camden's Trent Wilson swept his heat race en route to the Wing Class A-Main win on Saturday. "My car was good all night. Jim (Wood) did a great job in preparing the track to race tonight, and we came up with a big feature win," Wilson explained. "I want to thank Stan Wiggam and the crew, as well as my sponsors; FTX Chassis and Stars INC. for all their support this season," Wilson added.

Monticello natives Megan Wood and her brother Jimmy stayed up front most of the race to take solid second and third place finishes behind Wilson. Detroit, MI. racer Craig Karazim scored a fourth place finish in his first A-Main at US 24 Speedway, while Matt Ostler held on for a fifth place finish.
